Replacement Board/Box for Duke: Lord's Legacy. Not satisfied to play one of my favorite games on cheap cardboard, I designed this replacement board, which ended up replacing the entire box. I used Hatchbox wood filament on a Prusa Mk3s. I like the sanding and staining properties of Hatchbox, though I also used MG wood filament, which matched well in color. If I had to do it again, I would not use layers greater than 0.15mm, and if patient, 0.1 will save you a lot of sanding time. Be careful with print speed around crenelations as they are quite fragile. My print volume wasn't large enough to print in a single piece, so the parts were quartered, with accommodation for reinforcing pins (I cut the heads off some machine screws and cemented with super glue gel). The seams aren't strong enough without reinforcement. Be careful when gluing together; I used super glue gel and it was sufficiently strong, though I'm curious to try 3D Gloop sometime. The finished piece was stained with Minwax Rustic Mahogany Wiping Stain for the darker wood, and Cherrywood Gel Stain coated with Valspar Antiquing Glaze. The board surface was airbrushed (unthinned) with brass Liquid Leaf and also coated with antiquing glaze. Then entire thing is covered with threeish coats of glossy polycrylic. The towers are nyktunr's "Rook tower with central column". The corner columns are the middle of Trispectiv's "Column".
