Dugout Box - Small

Dugout Box - Small

thingiverse

This hitter box prints in three main components: plunger, box, and lid. To complete this project, you will need an M5x16 screw and a pen spring. A minimum layer height of .15 or lower is recommended to ensure accurate thread modeling. I create my own custom hitter bats from brass, but this design should fit standard smaller-sized bats. To assemble the box, first print all three parts, then attach the spring to the plunger nipple. Next, insert the spring into the bottom hole and push down on the hitter until you hear or feel the spring snap into place on the bottom nipple. It won't take much force at all. Everything should come together smoothly - it did for me, but I designed this with specific parts in mind. I used an M5x16 screw from my Prusa MK3 extras bag and a Bic pen spring to complete the project.
