Dugaci sculpture

Dugaci sculpture

thingiverse

This 3D sculpture is designed for printing, with a VRML file that includes color and an STL without. The texture and colors are embedded in the mesh, requiring reasonable resolution and good undercut handling to avoid inconvenience when cleaning supports from inside. We've successfully printed this model on a FlashForge, and surprisingly, the supports weren't as difficult as anticipated. As I don't own a printer myself, I'm unable to provide specific settings or advice. The shape and decoration of this sculpture were generated using a combination of code in Rhinoceros/Grasshopper/Python/C#. This tool can produce numerous models like this one, but the results are not always outstanding. Instead of relying on automation, I prefer to continually improve my coding skills by writing more complex scripts. For those interested, you can preview this model on Sketchfab and appreciate its intricate details.
