Here is my take on creating an enclosure for the duetwifi board. Please note that this design is specifically for version 1.04 boards, where the erase button was relocated. I wanted to create a case that would fit snugly between the bottom two 2020 supports, and this is what I came up with. If you try this design on a 1.03 board, there's a good chance the erase button will hit the faceplate. I've included the STEP files in case anyone wants to create a remix for an earlier or ethernet version of the duetwifi board. You shouldn't need any supports for any of the STL files. Update: 9/26/2018 Well, I printed the face plate and everything lines up perfectly, but just as I feared, the reset button sits closer (actually, it's located where the erase button was on V1.03) to the USB port, making it just barely touch the faceplate. I'll have to update the model to give a little more clearance there. (Just posted the CAD with the reset button fix.) On my print, I simply used a Dremel to make a small pocket, only about 0.1mm deep. Update 9/27/2018 The base box just finished printing and the board and 40mm fan fit perfectly. Looks like the board sits 0.5mm from the front edge, giving enough gap between the faceplate and reset button. Due to the design, the box bolts directly to the 2020 extrusion and must be installed first, then the board. Update 9/28/2018 I printed all the parts without any issues. I used standard 0.2mm settings through Prusa Slic3r. Installation required some tweezers and a ball-end Allen wrench, but everything fit perfectly. I added some pics of the enclosure installed (didn't connect the wiring for a better view). Update 10/3/2018 I made changes to the box and cover design, which are now V2. I added an attachment point to the opposite side of the fan as the wires would cause both halves to separate, leaving a gap between the covers. I also added some strain relief bars to hold the wires in place via zip ties, making it easier to attach the final cover. As a final note, I found that applying super glue to the M3 nuts helps keep them in place when bolting the fan into position.
