I designed this enclosure to house the Duet WiFi control board on the D-Bot build created by spauda01, providing essential protection, efficient cooling, and effortless connectivity for all components. The project is now complete, with everything functioning flawlessly! I'd like to express my gratitude to the original creators whose work inspired this build: spauda01: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1001065 and the talented mods from: mkuehn: http://www.thingiverse.com/make:229978 The DuetWifi documentation emphasizes the importance of bottom-side cooling, yet as long as front-side airflow isn't obstructed by poorly placed wires, side-facing cooling is actually more effective. Heat can be transferred to the rear-side, but it's more efficient to cool the area where heat is generated – the front. I've achieved optimal results with stepper motor currents set at 1.3 A and all drivers remain cool to the touch. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa I3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 200 micron Infill: 40% Notes: To attach the board to a v-slot rail, you'll need 2-3 M5X10 (DIN912), 2-3 M5X.8 Square Nut (DIN562), 4 M3X20 Socket Head Cap Screw (DIN912), and 4 M3 nuts. If you choose not to secure the top of the case to the board, 10 mm M3 screws should suffice. The fan mount requires 2-4 of the same M3x20 screws and 2-4 M3 nuts.
