Duet Maestro Enclosure (Quad Fusion Ready)
thingiverse
This enclosure will fit most 2040 aluminum frame 3D printers and is Quad Fusion ready, accommodating most current Duet boards as well. It comes with two lids: one regular flat lid and a second lid designed to stay in place even after plugging in the expansion board for the Quad Fusion. The Quad Fusion Ready lid requires significant support filament during printing but can be flipped over to minimize this requirement. Both lids slide smoothly onto the enclosure, providing ample space for wire management. This remix of MegaAndy's original design incorporates several key fixes: the board is centered more towards the center on the enclosure, the SD card slot has been enlarged for easy removal and access to all ports, reaching the screw holes is no longer an issue, and added rails facilitate smooth lid closure. To attach the printer, use four M4-0.70 x 8mm screws, accompanied by four M4 T-Slot Nuts. For mounting the board to the enclosure, employ four M4-0.70 Nylon Lock Nuts to prevent them from loosening during printing, paired with four M4-0.70 x 16mm screws.
