A laser-cut case for the Duet-Controller mounts onto aluminium extrusions of a Kossel and can be made with 4mm material. Please feel free to share your makes, remixes, or leave suggestions for improvements in the comments! Instructions: Cut out 4mm Material and assemble as shown in the picture. I used CA glue to secure everything. Attach four 4mm spacer-rings over each of the Duet's mounting holes and glue them in place. Mount a cross-brace to the back, centered on the case using glue. Securely fasten the Duet controller into place using M3 screws. Use three screws to secure the whole case to the aluminium extrusions. This design comes with two different cover options. I like to use one that fits snugly over the top and uses two rubber bands to keep it shut. Alternatively, you could opt for a magnetic hatch made from two parts of the design. To achieve this, glue the frame onto the case using M5 screws, then attach magnets between the cut out squares. Two 40mm fans are required to ensure proper ventilation within the Duet Controller's housing. Be aware that square holes were created to fit perfectly over nylon mesh when tucked in at an angle. Keep in mind you may need to make slight adjustments to your USB port opening as some of the designs may not accommodate a particular brand of USB connection, and simply remove unnecessary parts from any cabling you don't use. As you cannot disassemble without the proper tools or by using fingernails that aren't untrimmed for prying open an ethernet plug's small button in some models you may run into this type problem at one time while handling a device connected with a cable made out of very thick materials and plastic to bend inside its own hole so cutouts can prevent getting hurt easily. The designs included were originally used on a project where cross-hatched 40mm fans fit together. The creators, "3Dyuval", wanted people viewing these custom printed items to enjoy their products the best possible.
