Duet All Access with Duex mount and 60mm fan
thingiverse
This is my design for the Duet WIFI and Duex board enclosure, which also includes a block-off plate for use without the expansion board. I call it the Duet Total Access Enclosure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrsxH7GxZjI I wanted an enclosure that offered total access for my tinkering needs. I came up with this design, which features a 60mm fan blowing through both boards, providing fast and easy access to both boards, and large feed-through wire stress reliefs. This allows you to securely fasten your wires to the main chassis without worrying about them pulling as it opens. There's also plenty of room for adding future wiring without disturbing your current wiring. Note that the latch mechanism isn't pictured but it's quite sleek where it'll allow opening one half at a time to work on only the front board without any flopping around. Don't judge me on the print quality, I decided to experiment with a 1mm nozzle for the first time, not even running a single test print. (I did get all of this printed in about five hours however.) This design is currently set up to be used vertically on a 2040 rail but could easily be used on a 2020 rail. If you need it mounted on another side, simply mirror your mesh for now. I plan on adding additional mounting options in the future. I will be redesigning the bottom/mounting half a little bit for more mounting versatility and additional wire stress relief. This design uses four M5x16-20 screws to attach the case halves to the chassis, and four M4x20 with nuts to attach the boards. The latch attaches with M5x12 screws with lock nuts. The fan holes are set up for m3 screws.
