An adapter to replace 7x16mm motors with 8.5x20mm (Hubsan x4 107D or 107C) motors in a Parkzone Duet R/C plane. 1/24/16 The Duet 8.5mm adapter2 is the latest version. It's installed into foam, secured at 45° angles to horizontal using hot glue after cutting loose the original mount with an exacto knife. The Hubsan X4 props are now in place. For a stock appearance, the foam prop cones can be removed and attached using contact cement to the Hubsan props. The nacelles need internal posts trimmed before being secured either by taping or hot gluing them on. Flight testing has been successful. Almost hovering at 50% power. It's faster with improved turn authority. The battery needs to be all the way back in its compartment as far as it will go.
