Duet 3 mini 5+ Case
thingiverse
This is a stand-alone casing for the Duet 3 mini 5+ controller board. It is designed to stand up vertically and has room for a 40x40x20 mm fan to ensure proper cooling. The fan should blow air outwards, so that cool air enters via the side-openings and passes both sides of the board. The card exists in two versions: ethernet and wifi. Use the -box file for the ethernet version and the -wifi file for the wifi version. The lid is identical for both versions. The case has a small slot in the back for fitting a miniature (11 mm wide) voltage step-down converter. The board is fastened using four M4x6 screws. The lid is fastened using four M3x10 screws. Disclaimer: I do not own this board (it is still not in production), so the details of the design are based on official photos/drawings. It is a modified version of my case for the Duet 2 Maestro (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4438555). ## Update 2020-12-30 Position of the holes for the reset button and indicator LEDs has been updated to match the in-production version of the board.
