Duel Extruder fan duct
thingiverse
This is a custom-made fan duct designed for Geeetech I3 Pro C dual extruder models, compatible with 40mm x 40mm fans. It securely fits onto the included metal bracket that comes with my printer, making installation a breeze. Prior to uploading, I enlarged the original model to compensate for significant shrinkage issues during printing, which is typical for my operation. The finished product is slightly loose, but this should not hinder its functionality. Printed using PLA due to filament availability; if performance proves satisfactory, I intend to utilize nylon as a future print medium. I'd like to update my previous information. As a beginner in 3D printing, I initially overlooked the need for printer calibration after assembly. This led me to unnecessarily enlarge the fan duct, assuming it would combat shrinkage – unfortunately, this was an incorrect assumption due to incorrect calibration rather than actual shrinkage. Therefore, any users attempting this model at its original scale will likely experience looseness; I recommend scaling down by 0.98. I've added a Parasolid file for those who wish to enhance or modify this design further.
