The date dial is print in place.  The make I made was with a 0.4mm nozzle; however a 0.25mm would help crisp up the lettering.The included file has a colour change layer to get the two-colour print in my post.I have included the step files and the original Fusion 360 file so that you can easily tweak clearances or modify to suit.  The date wheel part with a different holder can also be used for marking food expiry, when things were opened, important date reminders for your desk.  Or just a desk date wheel.
