ducted part fan for Mini Kossel
thingiverse
This custom-designed fan and JHead mount was created using OpenSCAD to efficiently cool parts during high-speed or thick PLA layer printing. Three 30mm muffin fans are employed, with almost optimal results achieved. The airflow generated by the two part fans rotates in sync with the fan blades, directing air both in front of and behind the hotend nozzle. One 30mm PEEK fan proved too large to provide an unobstructed view of the part, so it was used in reverse to pull air from the PEEK rather than blowing on it. This design is being shared as a starting point for anyone interested in modifying or improving it.
