Turbine Power Characteristics: Power Coefficient 0.355 Average Power (kW) 711 Peak Power (MW) 1.67 Energy per Tidal Period (kWh) 8823 The turbine was designed for placement in Head Harbour Passage in the Bay of Fundy with 14MW of available power to extract. http://g.co/maps/dujx5 3 Gorlov blades with a PMG generator at the upper portion isolating the electrical system from the moving parts of the generator for reliability.
