Ducky the Lop Eared Bunny No Supports Needed, fixed, with ornament eyelet
thingiverse
I wanted to create a pendant version of Ducky, but OpenSCAD couldn't work with the STL file because it wasn't a two-dimensional surface. I eventually fixed it with MeshLab, though I still don't fully understand the steps I took to do so. Then I positioned the eyelet at the center of gravity, ensuring that it would hang perfectly as a tree ornament. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select Mini Rafts: Not Required Supports: None Needed Resolution: 0.1mm Notes: The print turns out fine with no infill and three walls. With the natural PLA I used, 10% infill produced distracting patterns on the surface that weren't necessary. In the cover photo, the left bunny is made using Cura 2.3's "Fuzzy Skin" mode. This feature can be found under "Experimental" settings and isn't enabled by default.
