Duckweed Scoop(Aquarium)
thingiverse
My compact aquarium had some duckweed growing out of control. I thought a small amount was okay, but it soon became overwhelming, and using a fork to remove it got old fast. So, I took matters into my own hands. A net could work, but in my case, it's too large and poses a risk to the small fish or fry that live in the tank. They're far too delicate for a net's rough handling. I designed this device in two separate parts, making it more accessible to smaller printers that might not be able to handle larger prints. The pieces snap together neatly, providing a sturdy and functional tool. Recently, I made some adjustments to enhance the scoop head's durability. A reinforcing brace has been added right down the middle – although I'm still unsure if this addition is truly necessary.
