Duckbill surgical mask support
thingiverse
This is an attempt to create a supportive attachment for a duckbill surgical mask that eliminates ear discomfort caused by rubber bands. The device is designed to be positioned immediately after the mask, at the beginning of the elastic straps to widen them outwards. Small slots in key areas are intended to securely hold the rubber band in place without any slippage. If face irritation occurs, a thin layer of gauze can be inserted between the support and skin for relief. I would greatly appreciate feedback from anyone who tests this design, as it will enable swift modifications based on results.
