Duckbill Scriber
thingiverse
This is a handy tool for marking chair legs and creating lines parallel to surfaces. The pencil holder features a .25" diameter hole that should fit snugly around a #2 pencil, which measures .25" across its flats. If not, you can try using a wedge-shaped insert instead. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this design - feel free to comment and I'll consider making adjustments accordingly. I've since added an extra feature: a third section with a slice that allows for attachment via a 10-24 clamp. Using Fusion 360's threading function, I created the thread part, but its printability is anyone's guess at this point. Update (October 24, 2017): I've revised the central component in my latest file (REV3). The hole now measures .3" in diameter, and I've also included an alternative version with a .315" or 8mm hole size. To improve alignment, I've widened the slot at the bottom to better match the outer section's dimensions.
