Duck

I crafted this stylized duck using Fusion 360, pushing its design capabilities to new heights. The duck was printed in two symmetrical halves, seamlessly joined with precision-engineered plugs and a strong adhesive, eliminating the need for unnecessary supports and subsequent sanding. To provide added convenience, I included an STL file of the complete model. The printing process took place on an Ultimaker Original+ 3D printer, utilizing Colorfabb's innovative Bronzefill material for the duck itself and Woodfill for the sturdy base. The print settings were optimized to perfection: a speed of 100 mm/s, a print temperature of 210°C, and a bed temperature of 70°C, all facilitated by a 0.4mm nozzle size. Following the printing process, I carefully joined the two halves together, then meticulously sanded and polished the duck until its bronze particles began to gleam in the light. For the final touch, I applied a subtle layer of Brasso, elevating the duck's aesthetic appeal to new heights.
