Duck Hunt Dog
thingiverse
This is the dog from the NES game Duck Hunt, a nostalgic figure for anyone my age who remembers the thrill of shooting ducks during a round. If you managed to hit one or both ducks, the game rewarded your marksmanship by showing off the dead birds. But if you missed, the dog would mock you with its distinctive laugh, as seen in this print. I'm including two versions of the dog: one where he's laughing at you and another where crosshairs are lined up on him - a nod to our true target. This print is designed with layering in mind, making it easy to swap out filament and customize your design. The base layer is white, followed by brown for the body (which is actually an orange-brown hue in the game), black for the outline, and finally a darker, reddish-brown for added depth and shadows. The crosshairs can be any color you prefer. The default size of this print makes it perfect for creating fridge magnets or other small decorative items. However, I've included pictures taken at 250% scale, which demonstrate how well the design holds up to enlargement.
