Duck foot medical cast

One of our ducks survived an animal assault and sustained severe injuries to its leg tendons. We provided medical attention to treat its wounds, and the duck successfully recovered, but unfortunately, the damaged leg would not retract forward again. This left the duck crippled and on the brink of death due to its debilitating condition. I created a custom prosthetic boot for its foot by attaching it with an elastic band to a sturdy fabric collar that fit comfortably around its neck. The prosthetic allowed the duck's leg to be retracted, giving it a new lease on life. Initially, walking with this makeshift limb was awkward and labored, but the duck adapted quickly, learning to navigate its surroundings with surprising ease.
