Duck call bullet shifter

Duck call bullet shifter

I built a customized shift knob for my friend's truck using parts from a duck call. To add stability, I incorporated support material from an old bullet, envisioning it as a strong reinforcement component for the entire assembly. The refashioning process: I first applied a silver base coat, allowing it to dry for 5 seconds before wiping off any excess. Following that, I added a layer of black base paint, again wiping clean after the same 5-second dry time had passed. To give it extra durability, I proceeded with applying two layers of fiberglass resin tinted with black paint - each adding substantial strength to the piece. A light sanding and buff/polishing followed, leading up to a final clear coat application. The files used for crafting came from the Duck Call project on Thingiverse, complemented by parts taken from a standard bullet, totaling 50 in number. To personalize it further, I engraved my friend's name along with his unique number into the design. The uploaded model is actually a generic version of the file, allowing users to easily edit and customize it for their own preferences.
