A Simple Superior Belt Buckle for Everyday Use. The prototype printed in PLA was successful. The refined version has not been printed yet, but no major issues are expected. March 14, 2017: The latest version (schnoin16.stl) is rotated upside down to prevent an unsightly surface from showing while wearing it. This design also includes less sharp corners, a looser fit for the snap fasteners, and a tighter fit for the main-buckle-lever. It features a button-hole and an extra 20% of elegance (the faux-poly-art effect is still being debated). Pictures will be posted soon. March 15, 2017: It's undeniable - ducks are amazing creatures that everyone loves. Therefore, a belt buckle with a duck on it has been designed for your enjoyment. March 16, 2017: The latest iteration boasts a stronger wall, sharper teeth, a more refined shape, a shorter lever, some minor enhancements, and a duck with a charming bend. April 23, 2017: A dignified belt buckle for formal events like funerals, weddings, and other significant occasions features a checkered pattern instead of a duck design. This version was printed in polycarbonate and is remarkably sturdy, although it's actually more transparent than the picture suggests. Despite its ruggedness, no other version has been destroyed yet, not even a wooden one that's slightly loose now.
