Ducati Monster 1100 Frame

In the Monster 1100 2009 (also applied to the 696), accurately engineered using actual parts measurements, guarantees precise interfaces. The front trellis frame incorporates all mounts and tubes, with wall thickness approximations since disassembling the genuine frame was avoided. Weighing 7.0 kg alone, the model replicates this weight if a density of 7850 kg/m3 is utilized. Cast rear subframes serve as dummy parts for correct engine and rear suspension unit interfaces but are authentic in design. Note that when combined with other Monster 1100 components, the castor angle measures 68.5 degrees (front sag of 20 mm, rear sag at zero). However, Ducati cites a 66-degree castor angle. Yet, repeated measurements on the actual bike confirm the 68.5-degree castor angle. The suspension mount is specific to the 1100 Monster with a spacer, differing from the 696 model's design without the spacer. Lastly, the ignition lock weighs 330 g.
