The Burj Khalifa, previously named Burj Dubai, is a megatall skyscraper located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the world's tallest artificial structure, it stands at 829.8 meters. Situated on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, this 163-floor building was designed by architects Adrian Smith, Marshall Strabala, George J. Efstathiou, and William F. Baker. Construction began September 21, 2004, with the official opening on January 4, 2010. Emaar Properties owns this iconic landmark.
