DualX System I3 (Parts released, check ToDo List)
thingiverse
My first dual extruder solution I designed myself was a pure mechanical one, controlled by kinematics. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3080893 But for more flexibility, bigger build volume and just to do something new, I will now set up a more complex DualX solution. Inspired by: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2688392 However, I was not satisfied with the solution of outer and inner belt systems, so I designed a solution that works with parallel belts using only the motor axes to pull and guide them. You need to print only XCarriage_FrontBeltFixing_Short.stl or XCarriage_RearBeltFixing_Short.stl, or XCarriage_FrontBeltFixing.stl or XCarriage_RearBeltFixing.stl, depending on your needs. For standard applications, the _Short.stl versions work fine.
