Dualstrusion Remix of Nick's Replacement Faucet handles

thingiverse

I just created a new version of Nick's Replacement Faucet handles because my dual extruder machine lets me print everything together, eliminating the need for gluing separate parts in place. The STL files I'm sharing don't require you to use Openscad or compile anything - you can print right away with the settings already applied. However, you still have the option to print the eyes separately if you prefer, and even combine them with crossbones using dual colors. The note is that the STL files have a slight offset from center due to my FF Creator Pro build plate setup, which helps compensate for a tiny imperfection caused by the screw holding it in place. But you can move these files around to suit your needs - just be sure to adjust both if you want to use dual extrusion. Instructions: You can print each part separately or combine the crossbones and eyes using dual extrusion on your machine. The faucet file is necessary, acting as a connection point between the faucet and handle. If you need a custom adapter, grab the openscad file from Nick's Replacement Faucet on thingiverse and modify it to suit your requirements. I printed in ABS with 50% fill, .15mm layer thickness, and two shells for added strength and detail.
