DualShock 4 / Xbox One Thumbstick Adapter for Generic 3D Analog Sensors
thingiverse
I recently purchased this aftermarket Nintendo Switch controller: Dobe Fomis Electronics - Controller TNS-19252 http://www.dobe-game.com/en/productshow-61-600.html Its by far the best controller of its type I've tried, though the only issue I had with it were with the thumb sticks. While the right analog stick is interchangeable, it didn't include any rubber tips for it, and the clearance of the bigger tips got in the way of the A,B,X,Y buttons. Fortunately I had some replacement DS4 analog sticks laying around, but were designed for a different mounting system than the sensors on this controller. After a bit of tinkering in Microsoft 3D Builder, I was able to come up with these simple, 5 minute print adapters that work perfectly to bridge the two and I couldn't be any happier with the result. The sticks work perfectly and have full degree of rotation with L3, R3 compression. Mileage may vary on other controller designs where the adapter may need to be modified for clearance, but on this controller it works perfectly. Should work for XB1 sticks as well however this hasn't been tested. See video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UM8gWZTP5jQ
