Dual Z Spacer

Dual Z Spacer

Dual Z spacers I use for setting up my Biqu BX's. I printed a pair at the same time so the are the same exact length. The base is nice and wide/stable to sit on the BX's 40X40 tubes. The narrow part at the top is to create a smaller contact area to maintain the best level. When you fire up your BX insert these so that they do not rest on the extrusion that spans the vertical uprights, just the extrusions that run Y axis direction. Manually rotate the Z's at the same time to bring the gantry down to rest on these spacers. In your move menu, raise the gantry up. When you first start the BX none of the axis is energized, so you can rotate the steepers. THis allows you to bring the gantry to rest on the spacers. When you raise the gantry it also energizes the axis so that it will remain level. One the gantry is leveled to the frame, you can home the unit. Then proceed to a manual level.
