Dual Z Belt tensioner (6mm or 10mm) Belt
thingiverse
I recently struggled to find a suitable belt for my dual Z mod, so I had to get creative and add a tensioner to make it work. For my Ender 3 Pro's dual Z mod, I'm using a 6mm x 784mm belt and 36-tooth gears with an 8mm bore that matches the 6mm belt size. I wanted to use a closed belt system for this setup. Using a 10mm belt shouldn't be an issue since it will run in the middle of three bearings, leaving enough clearance. However, there's a catch: you'll need to lift both gears up by about 5mm to make it work smoothly. To accomplish this, I used one bearing for each gear, just like the original mod. Then, I utilized three bearings as the tensioner wheel. If you're interested in replicating my setup, you can download my Fusion360 files, which are available for anyone who needs them.
