To ensure the Z2 axis operates correctly with the extruder connector 2 without a splicer, verify that no step, direction, or enable configuration values for the E1 slave step motor driver are present in the Smoothieware configuration file. For instance, if you're using E1 as a slave, delete any of these values from the configuration file: extruder2.hotend.step_pin extruder2.hotend.dir_pin extruder2.hotend.en_pin Remove jumper pins JC_M4 and JC_M5 except for GND according to image 2. In the Config.txt file, set equal current values for both drivers. For example, if you're using beta and delta settings: gamma_current 1.5 (Z Axis) epsilon_current 1.5 (Extruder E1) The attached config file is configured to use BLTouch and MKS TFT 2.8.
