Dual Wave Vase
pinshape
This is a stunning round vase boasting an exclusive design at its core. A 3-piece design unlocks a multicolor print capability without requiring dual extruders. It can also be crafted watertight on the inside, featuring deep 3D textures on the exterior. Designed using Fusion 360. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Duplicator i3 Plus Rafts: Disabled Supports: Disengaged Resolution: .2 mm Infill Percentage: 25% Notes: Using a 25% infill rate works well for all three pieces, but ensure thicker walls for the inner components and print at a slower pace to maintain watertightness. Scaling: Printing at 100% scale should result in a vase measuring 180 cm. Scaling down may lead to some detail loss, but it will remain functional. I successfully printed at 35%, as depicted in the attached photo. To avoid clogged gaps with strings, carefully adjust your retraction settings on this model. Assembly: Begin by sliding the outer design over the bottom tube, followed by placing the top piece on top. Use your preferred bonding method to secure all components together. I employed epoxy and achieved excellent results.
