I'm installing a custom mount for my dual VESC 6 ESC on a standard skateboard deck here. This setup will definitely not work with Mountain boards, though - the design is specifically tailored for decks of that kind. The mounting box has an open-top design which allows me to keep the heat sink exposed and functioning properly.
