Dual TL Smoothers Case For Mounting to 20MM T-slotted extrusion

Got a new Ender 3 and the benchy showed signs of "Salmon Skinning" saw a recommendation for TL smoothers for the X and Y axes and figured I'd give it a shot. I planned to use double sided tape to mount them in the main board case, but I didn't like the exposed leads on the back being so close to the metal and decided to design a case. The case holds 2 boards and prints in two parts. It's designed to mount to the double 20mm T-slotted aluminum extrusion. I will link to the model that I purchased, but at rough glance it seems like it might work with some of the others on the market as well.

Parts List:

- CASE_BODY (Printed)

- CASE_TOP (Printed)

- 6X M3x12 Flat head cap screws

- 2X M3x8 Socket head cap screws or Button head cap screws

- 2X M3 T-Nuts (I went with a 3D printed w/M3 Hex Nut insert option)

- 2X TL Smoother Boards W/cables

Tips:

- The top of the case might feel a little flimsy when you first print it, but once its assembled the tension from the screws will make it feel quite stiff.

- if mounting in the same location as pictured, you might need longer cables (around 10 inches). I made my own with some spare ribbon cable and a JST-XH connector Kit.

TL Smoother:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WG3SZQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
