thingiverse
These parts are used to create a mount to hold two magnetic coil telephone pickups to record the sound of magnetic fields in 'stereo'. The pickups that are used are these ones from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0034I75IK Below is the hardware that you'll need to put this together. The part numbers are from McMaster-Carr: 93738A220 - Barbed Inserts for Plastic - You can use a soldering iron to heat up the insert and push it into the plastic. 92005A132 - M3 x 0.5 mm Thread, 30 mm Long screw (a similar M3 screw should work too) 90592A009 - M3 x 0.5 mm Thread nut (a similar M3 nut should work too) The inserts can be used to use the mount on a 1/4"-20 Thread Size screw. The In the picture I have posted of the prototype, I used whatever hardware I have laying around but I adjusted the design to use the parts listed above.
