Dual Tablet/Phone Holder V1
thingiverse
I've included one version of the stand without the rear recess if needed. It's designed specifically for holding phones or tablets with gel cases fitted, which is how my devices are configured. There's no charging capability, as there are too many different locations and connector types to make it feasible. Instead, I simply place my devices on their side and connect the charging lead; my phone draws power from the bottom and my tablet feeds from the top. This design is quite challenging, especially if you print at a 3-layer wall thickness. However, printing at a 2-layer wall thickness should work fine but may result in some infill jerk. If your settings aren't smooth, it could be one of those frustrating prints. Also, keep in mind that this is a long print due to its robust design, so you'll need to adjust the settings accordingly. Printing with marble gives the stand a nice finish and aesthetic appeal. To achieve this look, I recommend printing the stand on its side, just like the second model above. This orientation eliminates the need for supports, resulting in a smoother print job. When orienting the print bed, position it from front to back rather than left to right, as this will produce an even finish and reduce the workload on the bed if you're using the E3.
