Dual-strusion Micro Gear Heart
thingiverse
CrazyJaw's keychain-sized heart gears received high praise for their quality. However, printing multiple sets could be time-consuming. To solve this issue, I used JoeyC's dual-strusion script, a derivative of thorstadg's work (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24195), which prints two of each file object simultaneously. The large plate required intricate arrangement due to part size, so I doubled up the number of pins for dual-strusion to produce a complete set. Further adjustments may be necessary for other printers with different nozzle separations. After downloading and slicing normally, apply the DualExtrude file to generate gcode files, then run them through your regular routine (e.g., open in RepG and export as .s3g).
