Autumn brings the perfect weather for soaring stunt kites! So I've chosen to share my design for winding and unwinding the kite line. Two parts of this DUAL-SPOOL are also ideal for steering the stunt kite. For securing and stabilizing the kite line on this DUAL-SPOOL, check out the photos I've uploaded to the gallery. To ensure a smooth print, select thermosetting plastics for 3D printing. Before you begin, run a FEM-Analysis to verify the strength of the "hook." The model is available in STEP-file (.stp), STL-file (.stl) and native file (.prt) formats, as well as a (.7z)-file for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«.
