dual-speaker enclosure for centre speaker for surround system
thingiverse
I decided to upgrade the speakers that came with my living room surround system by purchasing multi-driver speakers. I wanted a suitable enclosure for these new speakers and designed something specifically for a pair of Sony XS-FB1030 speakers: 30w, 3-way, 10cm/4". The dimensions can be seen in the included diagram from the back of the speaker box. This design should fit most 10cm/4" car speakers. These work well as a centre-speaker pair, mounted above my projection screen and angled at the listening position of my sofa. The enclosure is quite large because it was printed on my TronXY X5S (build volume 33x33x40cm) with mounting holes in the back to attach it to a wall or surface. I found some flat, white speaker cable on Amazon that makes it easier to blend in with the decor. I printed mine at 0.3mm layer height because it's massive and quite far away, so you won't be looking at it closely. You can have me print this or other 'things' for you!
