Dual-Shell Lamp with Glowing Ornament for LED-Tealights

This lamp is meant to be used with common LED tealights.

It consists of a inner shell, where the tealight can be placed. The outer shell gets slid over the inner shell. The two parts can still be rotated between one another, so you can adjust the light effect like you want.

The overhangs of the outer shell print really well with the Prusa Mini without any tweaking - just the bridges of the bottom (oriented upside down while printing so actually the top) can be a little droopy. These can easily be removed with anything sharp though.

The diameter for the tealight socket is 39.0 mm.

I originally planned to make the inner shell rotate with a motor, but it was too complex for an easy project anyone could make for themselves. (special low voltage motor, battery pack, switch, etc.).

Print instructions

Print orientation
Lay the flat surfaces of both shells/parts on the build plate.

Hints
If you have issues with stringing or bad bridging, try to lower the print temperature by e.g. 10°C - this might help just enough and can be an easy fix in this case.

Provided 3mf files
They use a modified 0.20mm profile for the Prusa Mini.

Support
There's no support required, if you have adequate part cooling (like the Mini has) and if you're ok with a tiny bit of post processing (see description).
