Dual screen monitor brace for webcam
thingiverse
I have two AOC U2777B monitors connected to my Mac mini. I purchased a full HD USB webcam from Aliexpress, which can be found at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32847864804.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dHxZfCo. The webcam is quite large and proved difficult to mount correctly, often zooming in too closely on my face. I wanted it positioned backwards and centrally between the two screens for a better framing of the picture. To achieve this, I designed a brace that secures the monitors together while also allowing the webcam to be mounted centrally behind them. The brace is printed in two parts: one part clamps the monitors together, and the other part serves as a mount for the webcam. A M4 nut insert and flathead screw are used to secure the webcam mount in place. To attach the webcam to the mount, I employed permanent magnets, making it easy to detach when needed.
