Dual Part Cooling Fan Mount / Shroud for Prusa i3 MK3S /+ (Lowered)
thingiverse
Was testing multiple different fan ducts, since I was having problems printing back-facing overhangs with PLA on the MK3S+, and I came across the dual fan duct by jonathanrswift, remixed by RosyRL. Looking through some comments, someone mentioned that the ducts seemed to blow more at the block than the nozzle/part, so I remixed the part by raising the extruder-mounting points by 2mm. Not sure if this is an improvement on RosyRL's design, but it definitely seems to print better back-facing overhangs than the stock Prusa duct. I've also tested against other single-fan ducts, such as RH_Dreambox's CS duct (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4124587) and teookie's Delta P duct (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/62523-delta-p-fan-duct-v2-r2-for-mk3s-extruder), and the dual-fan setup outperforms the single-fan setups in my rig, when printing a Benchy with PolyMaker PolyTerra PLA in an enclosure.
