To realign and level my dual extruders after a repair, I cleaned a clog and replaced the heater insulation. To ensure proper placement of the extruder nozzle and heater, I used a nut with the same thread as the shaft and nozzle. After attaching these parts to the aluminum holder and printed part, I turned both down until they touched the part and tightened the nut to hold them in place. I installed the top nut and removed the alignment part before twisting on the heaters. To ensure a good seal, I snugged the nozzles without overtightening. After reinstalling all parts and re-leveling the build pad, my dual colour and single colour prints indicated perfect or near-perfect alignment.
