Dual Monitor Stand/Arm

Hope you love this monitor stand. Its designed specifically for two Dell U2312HM placed on top of each other, but others may also work since it uses the standard VESA Mount which is found on almost all flat screens. The angle of the monitors can be adjusted freely. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Mendel Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: Screws: 100%, all other parts: 50% Notes: All parts are included. Edit: I recommend printing this in ABS. I tried it in PLA and it broke apart after several weeks, so increasing the extruder temperature to improve layer adhesion might be a good idea (I printed at 190°C which is relatively cold). Some parts need to be scaled because they were not exported to the correct size by my CAD tool. The scaling factor is 10. Before printing the Spacer, measure the exact space between the arms where the vesamount bolts to, then scale the spacer so it fits snugly. If you don't do this, tightening the screws might break the arms or the vesamount. Assembly Instructions Assemble everything as shown in the Assembly. Post-Printing Weld the mainstand parts together using a Dremel and this technique: http://hackaday.com/2014/12/30/3d-printing-technique-friction-welding/. Weld the Adjusternut to its correct position, then weld the Adjuster Pin to both Adjuster Bolts. Assemble everything. Done!
