Dual laptop under-desk mount with felt sliders
thingiverse
This is the V2 of my under desk laptop mount, tailored specifically for my work and personal 2019 Macbook Pros. I built this design to ensure a snug fit for both devices. The inserts for felt tape are carefully aligned with the laptop feet, preventing any contact between the laptop housing and plastic components. This alignment keeps the laptop suspended in mid-air. You'll notice that there are square peg holes at the end of the arms, intended for use with a crossbar (which you can add later). However, I opted not to include it this time around, but may revisit this feature in future updates. UPDATE: * Removed unnecessary supports from the backstop end * Slightly increased access hole sizing * Added a single laptop mount version Materials: 4 x #6 1/2" screws - https://amzn.to/3a1CifL Felt Tape - https://amzn.to/2xKvyEA Remember to print out separate left and right sides or use your slicer to mirror the print. Printing two identical STL files will not work as intended. If you encounter any issues with mounting the bracket squarely, I'll provide tips and explain my process. Feedback is always welcome, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts in the comments. The Bracket can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4230890
