This design builds upon idea:3710440, offering a faster and more straightforward printing experience. Specifically tailored for an SDM mast with a diameter of 47.5mm and the GoPro 5 model, this mount ensures a secure attachment. To assemble the mount, place it above the boom clamp at its highest point on the mast. Avoid over-tightening the screws to prevent damage to the mast itself. The camera should be positioned vertically toward the end of the boom for optimal viewing angle. If using multiple cameras, adjust the horizontal angle by rotating the mount around the mast. A safety rope wrapped around the mast is highly recommended in case any part fails during use. Additionally, I've reinforced the U-part with rubber glue to increase friction and prevent slipping. When capturing images or footage, set the camera to superwide mode since you'll be positioned close to it. This setting ensures a broader field of view. Required materials for this project include: * 2 MC6S 5x30 (M5 socket screw) * 4 M6M 5 nut (M5 nut) For the best results, I recommend printing with ABS or PETG filament.
