!!! This mask is incredibly easy to breathe through !!! I don't take credit for any of these designs; I simply gathered them from other people and made a few tweaks to make them work together seamlessly. X-strap - jjshep89 Dual Filter Mask & Upsizer for the double filter cover - the3daddict (I had to modify the larger tread pattern to fit the double filter covers perfectly) Filter inserts, double filter cover, and regular filter cover - MrDWGraf If you have any questions about the filter covers or want to know how they work, MrDWGraf has excellent videos and images on them. Just type "modular mask" into the search bar, and he'll be the first one that pops up. I printed everything in PLA, but I did use a heat gun to do some gentle molding on a few parts - the X-strap and the main portion of the mask. It's a very simple process; some people use hot water around 120 degrees F, while others, like me, use a heat gun on medium. Just be careful not to overheat the parts, or they might warp. I took my time, held each part in front of the heat gun for a few seconds at a time, and checked its flexibility after each session. As it softened, I slowly shaped the mask brim to fit my face perfectly. The X-strap was a breeze - just heat it up, press it against the back of your head until it takes shape, and secure it with small bungee cord tied in a knot. Then, simply thread it through the mask and tighten; it won't come loose.
