UPDATE 01-12-2017 - ISSUES, DO NOT USE THIS DESIGN :-( I encountered severe problems with this design. For further details see the comments and please leave a comment or remix this if you have an idea on how to resolve it. Edit it online with Tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/kmRnXMXgZm9 ============================================================= I required a filament guide and a filament cleaner, so why not combine them into one? This is a remix of: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1780376 Changelog: I added space for the sponges on top of the spheres. I cut open the base and the spheres to allow the removal of filament while it's still loaded in my extruder! I reduced the size of the spheres, which should improve print tolerances. I uploaded multiple files for users to experiment with and print exactly what they want. The most essential files are: base+sphere_closed.stl base+sphere_open_for_1.75mm.stl base+sphere_open_for_3mm.stl To dual-print, separate the model in your slicer (Google provides guidance on this). Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro C Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Layer Height Infill: 10-20%
