Dual Filament Clip

Dual Filament Clip

thingiverse

Despite the abundance of filament clips available, none have proven effective for me - either they fall off the spool rim, are difficult to thread with filament or allow it to slide out. This clip securely and independently holds two strands of filament in place. When toleranced and printed correctly, the filament clicks into position and does not slip, even with glossy filament. It prints well using PLA and requires only a small amount of filament per clip. The customizer should accommodate any size filament, but I have only tested it with 1.75mm filament so far. UPDATE: 12/16/17 - The OpenSCAD model was updated to resolve "coincident faces" issues in preview and potential non-manifold objects. New STL files were generated, but no functional change occurred.
