Dual-Feed 2,4-10 Ghz off-set for QO-100
thingiverse
In all feeds with helix concentric to the LNB there is a loss due to the shadow of the same helix. I calculated that the shadow of the helix makes a loss of about 2 db. I thought to off-set the helix above LNB and with this setup the helix is almost transparent, I calculated about 0.5 dB of loss. The dual feed is made to be fixed to a 60mm diameter LNB. It is printed in 3D with an aluminum reflector, the helix is in 2mm copper wire solded to a plate to transform the impedance to 50 ohm. I inserted JPG and drawings to help you build . The helix to be Left Hand Polarisation.I inserted the following STL files:Anello Helix-feed.stl = Dual feed bodyCalotta Helix-feed.stl = Dome coversupporto-Helix.stl = helix holderMould helix 2-4 ghz.stl = Mould to build the helix
